Kevin was born and raised in Kennebunk, Maine. It was there he developed his love of the outdoors and explored local streams for whatever creatures he could find. Growing up in an outdoor family led him to West Virginia University where he majored in Forestry/Parks and Recreation where he graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
After graduation, Kevin headed west in search of new country and rivers to explore. Kevin loves to share his knowledge of the outdoors with anyone willing to listen. After landing in Montana he was immediately in awe of Montana’s rivers and the fish that call those rivers home.
Kevin specializes is day trips and walk/wade trips to remote streams, as well as multi-day adventures in Northwest Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness.
Kevin’s favorite things include passing on knowledge of things that interest me the most. Also fly casting, all species of fish, dogs, tying flies, rowing boats, cold beer, thrift stores, shitty jokes, sunset cocktails, his gal Lacey and Bela, the ultimate fisher dog!
During winter months Kevin utilizes his teaching skills to the Whitefish Mountain Resort where he has been a level 2 PSIA for the last 8 years.
Do yourself and family a favor and spend a day on the water with “Kevon”. You will enjoy the experience and make a lifelong friend.
